Former Livedoor Co. President Takafumi Horie disclosed his feelings in
a handwritten letter released on Wednesday.
“I thought of a new business plan in jail, but at the moment I would
like to concentrate on preparing for the trial,” the letter said.

日本語の報道では「堀江被告」となっていますが、英語メディアではただ
「Horie」と表記している例が多いのでこれにしたがいました。
このほか、堀江被告は手紙の中で
「ライブドアの経営にかかわるつもりはありません
（＝I have no intention to take part in Livedoor's management.）」
とも述べています。
しかし、獄中で新ビジネスの構想を練るあたりが根っからの起業家ですね。
